That Itch! – It’s all in my imagination….so they told me!

That was over 2 years ago.

It turned out to be a melanoma. After an operation – all clear – wrong again.

Last July, it re-emerged as a spot on my lung, then, very quickly, the melanoma spread to my liver, bones and lungs – Stage 4, no less.

Since July, I have been to ‘hell and back’. November came and it looked like the end.

But, with the miracle of modern science, I am surviving. Melanoma, a few years ago, was a death sentence.  All praise and thanks to the doctors and staff of the Melanoma Institute, the researchers and scientists who developed the treatment, my wife Bev, my family, my parent’s lessons and the friends who encouraged me, and assisted me, to never give up.

I am quickly regaining my strength. Currently, I am reflecting on my thoughts and life, so that I can restart - presently repotting my life…having considered this experience.

I am writing my story and will be passing on the lessons learnt in books and blogs, which will include important information and direction for people facing similar circumstances. Also, coming soon, on peterdgraham.com.au will be a short video to accompany the blogs.

I look forward to contributing, again.
